Asharqia Chamber presents its best greetings to you, and would like to inform you about receiving a letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (No. 2702) dated 27/10/1439, which states that the Council received the letter of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment No. (52836) dated (24/10/1439) that referred to the letter of the Saudi Stands, Metrology and Quality Organization No. (364 / p) dated (15/1/1439), which is subject to the decision of the Board of Directors of the Authority at its meeting No. (156) dated (16/9/1437) that approved the Technical Regulations for the water saving consumptions tools No. (MA-156-16-03-06).

These regulations were published in the Official Gazette on 13/1/1438, and entered into force on 14/4 / 1439H.

During the coming period, the Ministry will conduct inspections of outlets for selling sanitary ware. The products will be monitored and handled in accordance with the regular procedures.​
